Hi, i have a cherokee AMC 2.5, 1987 year, this will fit correctly? i bought some bolts from the 4.0 but these have a larger diameter, so doesn't fit. thanks

so no a 1/2 bolt is the same as 1/2 bolt , i suspect you have the older 7/16 bolt engine we do have bolts for this on page https://headbolts.com/jeep-2-5-liter-cyinder-head-bolts.htm part chbs-1224 , note these do not have any studs on top

The bolts that came out of my 2.5 l have 4 double ended long, 1 long hex head, 5 short hex head. Does it matter as long as I have 5 long and 5 short?
